Ik ben gevraagd voor een kleuradvies in een prachtige landelijke woning in Schoorl.

Alle gebruikte materialen zijn puur en mooi in al zijn eenvoud. Heerlijke Love Seats in mooie ruige linnens, een oude houten vloer en in de keuken Belgische dallen.

Met de handgeschilderde kleurstalen en wat probeersels op de wand met een tester van Carte Colori is de  keuze voor de verf op de wanden is gevallen op de kleuren Kalkverf Gritti en kalkverf Palladio.

Maandag gaan de schilders beginnen en uiteraard zal het eindresultaat te zien zijn!

Het bekende krijtverfmerk Painting the Past komt op de markt met een compleet nieuwe muurverf. Deze ‘rustieke’ verf kenmerkt zich door zijn  zachte streperige kleurschakeringen en natuurlijke nuance. Hierdoor krijgt elke muur een authentieke en doorleefde uitstraling, die typerend is voor de stijl in oude Engelse cottages en Toscaanse landhuizen.

Rustic@ dankt zijn naam aan zijn rustieke en zachte poederige uitstraling. De van oorsprong Engelse verf heeft een prachtige Italiaanse twist, die een creatieve invulling krijgt door de @ in de naam. De nieuwe kleurlijn  bestaat uit een sober en sereen kleurpalet van 6 tinten, dat geïnspireerd is door vergrijsde aardkleuren, gewassen linnen en gebleekt hout.
Streperige kleurschakering
Rustic@ verf bevat componenten van marmerpoeder, waardoor bij het aanbrengen een zacht poederig en mat effect ontstaat. De verf wordt in twee lagen van boven naar beneden of kruislings aangebracht. Hiervoor dient men een  brede kwast te gebruiken.  Afhankelijk van de manier van opbrengen ontstaat er een streepachtig of licht gewolkt effect waardoor de  muur een doorleefde uitstraling krijgt. Het aanbrengen van verschillende lagen geeft lichte kleurnuances en een zacht schaduweffect.
Praktische voordelen
Naast de bijzondere ingrediënten en warme kleurstelling biedt de verf ook praktische voordelen. Zo is de verf kant en klaar uit blik aan te brengen met een kwast,  nauwelijks vlekgevoelig  en kan deze eenvoudig worden overgeschilderd.

In dezelfde print hebben wij een fantastisch wallpaper in de kleur Pearl van Designers Guild op de wanden. Deze wallpaper zat nog geen ochtend op de wand en werd direct al door een enthousiaste klant gekocht. Ondanks dat alle printen te zien zijn in de stalenboeken spreekt een wallcovering op de wand toch veel meer tot de verbeelding.
